Each flower arrives twice: painted in watercolour, and drawn as line art. The line art is a real vector PDF — paths, not pixels — so there’s no resolution to run out of. The watercolour is supplied at 300 dpi, the resolution print shops ask for. Both come in 5 × 7, 8 × 10, 11 × 14 and A4, each in ink-on-paper and reversed for a dark frame.
The bare plate
Each bloom also arrives on its own — no month, no lettering — as an SVG and a transparent PNG. That’s the file a tattoo artist wants, and the one a cutting machine or an embroidery hoop needs. The same drawing as the print, with the label taken off.
Twelve wallpapers, one per month, sized for a modern phone and set in the reverse colourway so the flower reads over your icons instead of fighting them. It is, in practice, the piece people use every day.
Most months have two traditional flowers — January is snowdrop and carnation, July is water lily and larkspur. Where a second one exists in the tradition, it’s drawn and in the folder: nine of the twelve. February, September and November get one, because that’s what the tradition gives them. We’d rather leave a gap than invent a flower to fill it.
Birth flowers come out of Victorian floriography — the habit of assigning a plant, and a sentiment, to each month. The pairings below are the ones that have stuck.

Every calendar month has a flower traditionally attached to it, the way it has a birthstone. January is the snowdrop, June the rose, November the chrysanthemum. Most months have two; the tradition is Victorian and it isn’t perfectly consistent, which is why the index on this page names both where both exist.
No. Every print is an ordinary PDF — whatever already opens PDFs on your phone or laptop will open these. The line art is also supplied as PNG, so you never need a vector editor unless you want one.
Better, on decent paper. Print at 100% or “actual size” rather than “fit to page”, on matte card of 200gsm or heavier. The printing guide in the folder says the same thing in more detail. If your print comes out wrong, reply to the receipt and we’ll help.
No — the licence is personal use. Print as many copies as you like for yourself or to give away, but the files can’t be resold, redistributed, or used in products you sell.
That happens; the tradition varies by region and by which Victorian list you follow. Where a month has a widely-used second flower, it’s in the collection. If yours isn’t here at all, reply and tell me — that’s genuinely how the next set gets decided.
